About Harrogate
Harrogate is a spa town in North Yorkshire, England. The town is popular among tourists for its spa waters. Historically the town had two separate settlements as High Harrogate and Low Harrogate. The town later forms a single urban area, and is in the Nidd Valley. The town has an estimated population of 71,594 as of 2001. The railway station and bus station in the town centre provide transport connections. The A61 passes through the town, connecting Harrogate to Leeds and Ripon, and it is also connected to Wetherby by the A661.
