About Ilkeston
Ilkeston is a town in the borough of Erewash, in Derbyshire, England. It is located on the River Erewash, from which the local borough takes its name. The town has an estimated population of 37,550 as of 2001. The neighbouring town Derby and Nottingham is near to the M1 motorway. Although the town lies with the Derbyshire, it is closed to Nottingham.
